Philippine Lepidoptera Specimen Database

Philippine Lepidoptera (PhiLep) aims to increase the country’s resources for scientific and educational advancements through Digital Library of museum specimens for the organization’s online digital resources of Philippine lepidoptera.

 

Specimens are from the following museums:

(1) McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity, Florida Museum of Natural History, University of Florida, Florida (USA). 
(2) Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum, Hawaii (USA).

4. Specimens from other countries are included for species in the Philippines that are not in the museum.

5. PhiLep aims to increase butterfly awareness in the country, therefore, our main reasons for providing these images are for educational and scientific purposes only.
